Swiss money manager GAM has appointed Ben Edwards as its head of institutional sales in the UK and Ireland.
Based in London, Edwards will be responsible for strengthening the firm’s distribution offering for the region’s institutional clients. He will report to GAM group head of distribution, Tim Rainsford.

Edwards previously served for a decade at Pimco, most recently as the head of the firm’s UK & Ireland institutional sales.
Commenting on the new appointment, Rainsford stated: “Ben Edwards has a long and successful track record in helping clients meet their investment objectives.
