British investment manager Smith & Williamson has appointed Simon Jennings, Frances Jennings and Anita Millar-Neale to private client tax division.
Millar-Neale will join the firm in May 2017, with d Simon Jennings and Frances Jennings expected to join a month later. The trio most recently served at Rawlinson & Hunter.
Jennings advises in tax planning and wealth structuring for international families, including tax residence issues, and UK tax for foreign domiciliaries. He also specialises in managing HMRC enquiries, investigations, and appeals.
Frances Jennings focuses on offering tax and financial advice to private clients, their families and the vehicles they chose for their business and charitable interests. She specialises in advising international families on the use of onshore and offshore trusts for tax, family, philanthropic or commercial purposes.
Millar-Neale advises UK resident and non-resident individuals and family groups, non-domiciliaries, entrepreneurs, and non-UK resident trustees. She specialises on various tax planning aspects such as HMRC enquiries, residence and domicile issues.
