AxiomSL, a provider of regulatory reporting and risk management solutions, has announced the hire of Nicola Hortin as Head of the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Regulatory Analysis Team.

Hortin has joined AxiomSL from JP Morgan, where she worked on a variety of regulatory reporting projects over the course of five years. Prior to that, she worked for SECAM+, the provider of a capital calculations tool. Her experience includes implementing solutions for Capital Requirements Directive IV (CRD IV) calculations, Common Reporting (COREP), Bank of England disclosures and other regulations.

AxiomSL’s EMEA regulatory analysis team monitor the regulatory requirements across the region and provide technical guidance to AxiomSL’s solutions and implementations teams.

Hortin will be based in London and will work on topics such as Basel lll capital and liquidity requirements, Pillar 3 disclosures, the Standardized Approach for Measuring Counterparty Credit Risk Exposures (SA-CCR), the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), shareholding disclosure rules and International Financial Reporting Standard 9 (IFRS 9).
