Arbuthnot Latham has appointed two new hires in the North West of England from Brewin Dolphin and Kellands (Hale).
Jacqui Davidson-Slack will join Arbuthnot’s Manchester team as a chartered wealth planner, having previously spent eight years at Brewin Dolphin as a financial planning director.
Andrew Waters will also join the Manchester office as a wealth planning executive. From 2006 until 2014 Andrew worked for Barclays Wealth & Investment Management, based in Manchester, assisting Private Bankers and Wealth Advisers develop financial plans for wealthy individuals. Walters joins Arbuthnot Latham from Kellands (Hale) Limited, an IFA practice based in Cheshire.
The appointments come as the boutique British bank attempts to bolster its private banking business in the North West of England.
Commenting on her appointment, Jacqui Davidson-Slack said:
"There is most definitely a gap in Manchester for a traditional private bank offering the three areas of expertise; banking, financial planning and investment management. In the wake of the pension reforms, tax changes and new saving mechanisms, never has there been such a demand for specialist financial advice and a close and trusted relationship.
