The UAE and Sweden have signed an agreement on the exchange of information for tax purposes in Stockholm.
The move comes after the UAE delegation, led by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer, minister of state for financial affairs, has concluded its official visit to the Scandinavian countries.

These visits are aimed at strengthening the country’s network of agreements on exchange of information for tax purposes, reviewing the financial practices adopted by these countries, exchanging experience as well as discussing joint cooperation opportunities.
The tax information exchange agreement was signed by Obaid Humaid Al Tayer and Per Bolund, Swedish minister for financial markets and consumer affairs.
Al Tayer said that these visits reflect the UAE government’s commitment to strengthen and expand its regional and international trade relations with various countries across the world, especially Scandinavian countries.
