Credit Suisse has posted a full-year net
income of CHF5bn ($5.1bn), down 24% from the prior fiscal.

Net new assets in its wealth management
business grew 28.3% year on year to CHF45.3bn.

Credit Suisse’s private banking unit, which
comprises wealth management and corporate and institutional client
business, posted a 31.3% growth in net new assets in the twelve
months to December to CHF54.6bn.

The bank ended the year with assets under
management of CFH808bn, up from CFH803 in the prior fiscal.

Credit Suisse’s asset management division
recorded an inflow of CFH20.6bn net new assets as of 31 December,
versus CFH400m in 2009.

The bank increased the number of its
relationship managers from 4,080 at year-end 2009 to 4,200 in
fiscal 2010.
