Swiss banking group UBS’s expansion into the
UK wealth management market continues with the appointment of
Martyn Begbour.
The bank said Begbour will join on 31 October
and head a newly-created desk covering the South and South-West,
initially based in London.
UBS also said it is creating a team to service
the South and South-West, an “important” geographic market.
Getting closer to clients
According to UBS Wealth Management head of UK
Domestic Nick Tucker, the bank’s regional network is an “essential”
part of its offering in the UK.
