Vanguard Charitable, a US-based donor-advised fund, has named Ann Gill, a Philadelphia banking and non-profit executive as its new chief philanthropic officer.
In her new role, Gill will lead the Vanguard Charitable’s philanthropic services. In addition she will assist donors to strategically increase their charitable giving plan that includes their funding schedule, investment asset allocation and long-term philanthropic objectives.
Prior to joining Vanguard Charitable, Gill has most recently served as regional director and senior vice president at Wells Fargo and as managing director of Wachovia Securities/First Union Bank.
Gill, who has more than 30 years of experience in relationship management, has built relationships with non-profit groups such as colleges and universities and launched new business initiatives.
