Stonehage Investment Partners, the investment advisory arm of Stonehage, has appointed Guy Hudson as their new executive director and head of business development.

Prior to joining Stonehage, which deals in family offices and wealth management, Hudson was a board director and head of client services at Heartwood, a UK wealth manager. Previously, he held senior business development and sales leadership roles at BNY Mellon Asset Management for fourteen years.

Managing director of Stonehage’s investments division, which manages assets valued at over $3 billion, Anton Sternberg, said: "We’re excited about Guy’s arrival as the group continues to build its business and client base in the UK and elsewhere. Guy will play a key role in expanding our client base and in continuing to improve our client offering, both in the UK and internationally."

Hudson added: "Stonehage has an enviable reputation for the provision of family office, wealth planning and investment advice to the international ultra-high-net-worth community and for me this is a compelling opportunity to help shape the next phase of the firm’s development and in particular to expand the reach of its impressive investment capabilities."
