Lombard Odier has launched a new risk-based, multi-strategy investment approach to provide private clients with robust returns.
The two new funds, LO Selection Vantage 1500 and LO Selection Vantage 3000, are based on their previous pension fund which adopted a more risk-based approach over four years ago. It researches clients’ tolerance to risk and potential drawdowns from which it devises the budget for said risks.
Stephanie Monier, CIO of Lombard Odier’s European private banking business, said: "This is a tried and tested approach that we have been offering some sophisticated individual clients for a number of years, as well as applying to our own pension fund for employees. By balancing risk with a diversified approach, we aim to keep clients’ portfolios balanced and not expose them to more risk than they’re willing to take."
