Henderson Global Investors has strengthened its property team in Austria with the appointment of David Moese.
David, who will be based in Vienna, has assumed the role of Head of Property Investment, Austria, managing Henderson’s Austrian property portfolio. This includes the Warburg-Henderson Austria funds 1 and 2, for which Henderson acts as asset manager.
David reports into Timothy Horrocks, Head of Germany, for Henderson’s c£12.7 billion property business.
Before joining Henderson, David was Senior Transactions Manager at Immofinanz AG, where he was responsible for processing all acquisitions and sales in Austria and Slovenia. His role also involved coordinating and structuring all legal, tax and financial issues.
Prior to this, Moese was the Head of Project Development and Project Management in the property department of a family-owned company, and Divisional Director of Product and Portfolio Management at an Austrian bank.
Timothy Horrocks, head of Germany, said: "Through the appointment of David Moese, we have further boosted our expertise in the Austrian market. The Austrian team in place now boasts a wealth of experience including fund management, investment, asset management and leasing, leaving them well-placed for success."
