British wealth manager Rathbones has formally launched its new private office as one of the group’s strategic growth initiatives.
The new office will cater to families, entrepreneurs, senior corporate executives, financial professionals, resident non-domiciled and overseas investors, offering them a range of specialist private banking products, services as well as lending solutions.
Rathbones said that the new venture will complement its existing offering of discretionary fund management, tax, trust, financial planning and banking services.
The office will be headed by Ian Dembinski, who joined the business in July 2016 from the UK private banking unit of Swiss banking giant Credit Suisse.
In May 2016, Rathbones struck a partnership agreement with Credit Suisse for the private office.
“The Rathbone Private Office offers clients the full suite of services they require in today’s global financial environment. Every client will be advised by a team that has spent their entire career growing, protecting and preserving their client’s wealth,” Dembinski said.
