IDB Bank, a US-based lender serving both private and commercial clients, has named Christian Rocchio as its new executive vice president and head of private banking & wealth management in New York.
In the new role, Rocchio will be part of IDB’s senior leadership team, overseeing the bank’s multibillion-dollar wealth portfolio in the greater New York area.
He will focus on driving strategic growth, enhancing client success, and expanding IDB’s wealth management services, the lender said.
IDB added that Rocchio will be instrumental in shaping IDB’s long-term wealth management strategy, driving portfolio expansion for New York private banking & wealth management, and overseeing the growth of the IDB Lido Wealth joint venture, an SEC-registered investment adviser based in New York.
IDB Lido was established in 2021 as a joint venture between Lido Advisors and IDB.
With more than two decades of experience in private banking and wealth management, Rocchio has held senior leadership positions at financial institutions such as Citizens Bank, HSBC, and JPMorgan Chase.
