Alternative investment platform Proteus has partnered with Pathway Capital Management, a private market fund-solutions provider, to offer a private investment access platform.
This platform is designed to expand the reach of private market investments to registered investment advisors (RIAs) and their high-net-worth clients.

The Proteus platform provides RIAs with access to select Pathway-advised funds, as well as opportunities for secondary and co-investment deals secured by Pathway.
Additionally, there is potential for RIA firms to engage in exclusive co-investment opportunities through a streamlined and integrated platform.
This development aims to enhance the investment capabilities of RIAs by offering them and their clients a broader array of private market investment options.

Through the Proteus platform, advisors will be able to tap into Pathway’s extensive “knowledge and experience” to source unique investment opportunities for their high-net-worth clients, according to the company.
Initially, Pathway will concentrate on private equity strategies, including secondary and co-investments, on the Proteus platform.
Last month, Proteus revealed its partnership with Barrel Strength Partners, an investment firm specialising in the Kentucky bourbon sector.
The collaboration offers an investment opportunity aimed at expanding access to the industry for RIAs and their eligible clients.
Pathway partner and managing director Jim Chambliss said: “Our goal is to help RIA’s overcome some of the significant challenges when investing in private equity and co-investments.
