Wealth management firm Focus Financial has announced merger of its partner firms Brownlie & Braden and Prairie Capital Management Group.
Dallas-based Brownlie & Braden, which offers financial advisory services for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, joined Focus Financial in 2017.
Brownlie has around 30 years of expertise in investment advice, estate planning, tax guidance, and other services.
The combination with registered investment advisor (RIA) Prairie Capital will provide Brownlie & Braden’s team with access to Prairie’s planning and investment resources.
This collaboration is expected to broaden the advisory capabilities offered to their clients.

Prairie Capital is set to benefit from an expanded presence in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, tapping into a significant growth market with the addition of Brownlie & Braden’s team.
As of 11 November 2024, Prairie managed around $7bn in assets. It provided consulting services for an additional $2bn, based on valuations as of 31 October 2024.
