Allspring Global Investments, a global asset management firm with $590bn under advisement, has established the Allspring (Lux) Worldwide Fund – Global Income Fund, a UCITS addition to its current 17 Luxembourg funds.
Allspring, a supplier of active fixed income solutions, has launched this multi-sector fixed income fund to fulfil rising requests for this approach from investors in the United Kingdom, continental Europe, and Asia.
The Allspring Global Income Fund will be led by Janet Rilling, Noah Wise, Christopher Kauffman, Michael Schueller, Michal Stanczyk, and Sarah Harrison. The team offers investors significant market expertise, with a turnover of 23 years of professional investment experience and $25bn under advisement.
Allspring’s effective Income Plus strategy, which was previously only accessible to institutional investors and as a US mutual fund, serves as the foundation for the new fund.
The goal of the investment strategy is to actively distribute capital across the global fixed income universe in order to achieve attractive income and total return. With its unrestricted approach, the method can be applied to government, securitised, investment-grade, high-yield, and developing market debt markets.
This fund is classified as SFDR Article 8 and supports environmental and/or social qualities, however it lacks a sustainable investment aim.
