Digital private investment manager Moonfare has launched its direct investment programme and eligible investors will now be able to invest in select companies alongside leading GPs.
The Moonfare investment team will leverage the company’s global deal sourcing network and relationships tp gain direct deals.

Moreover, it has already closed investments in Anthropic, a global leader in generative AI widely regarded as the primary competitor to OpenAI/ChatGPT, and NVIDIA-backed Sakana AI, which has achieved a $1.5bn valuation in just over twelve months of existence.
Founder and co-CEO Steffen Pauls said: “Many of our sophisticated investors have signalled an appetite to invest in direct deals, and we can meet that demand thanks to our deep, decades-old relationships with our fund partners and the industry at large. These precious relationships, along with our growing scale, ensure we can access a constant deal flow of top-tier opportunities.”
From July 2024, with minimums as low as €10,000 ($10,822), qualified retail investors can now directly access Moonfare’s European Long-Term Investment Fund (ELTIF) strategy through the company’s newly released mobile app.
The app is currently accessible in German for German investors and will be expanded to include additional EU countries in the future.
