By GlobalDataAnderson added: “It is an honour to assume this position of high trust with such a respected institution as 1900 Wealth Management. The experiences I have had and the knowledge I have accumulated throughout my career have led me to this time and place. My goal for the Austin office is to develop relationships with clients focused on wisely managing generational wealth. Beyond that, the Austin community is bright, entrepreneurial, and home to great universities. There is a tremendous talent pool for recruitment and expanding our ability to serve new clients.”
1900 Wealth Management, which is owned by Jefferson Bank, focuses in assisting families in growing their wealth through solid investment management and tackling high-net-worth concerns.
Established in 2015, it opened its Greater Austin/Central Texas office in 2023 to capitalise on Austin’s growth and private wealth creation.
Since its inception, 1900 Wealth has exhibited a strong capacity to stay up with market developments, particularly through increased investments in its distinctive alternative investment platform.
Investors have invested in 39 alternative investment options totalling more than $200m, including private credit, venture capital, oil and gas, music royalties, consumer items, and real estate.
Moreover, 1900 Wealth Management reported that its assets under management (AUM) had crossed $2bn in March 2024.
This accomplishment follows a prosperous 2023 that included expanding alternative investment options, expanding asset growth, moving into a new San Antonio headquarters, and increasing market expansion in the Boerne and Austin areas.
By the end of 2024, Brockwell projects the firm’s AUM to reach $2.4bn.
