Fifth Third Bank is extending its reach into Missouri’s commercial banking market by launching its first office in Kansas local and has appointed Taylor Dunn to be the local president.
In addition to managing and expanding the new commercial office, Dunn’s job is to maintain the relationships with clients that the St. Louis team has built up over the years.
In her new role as city president, Dunn will strengthen the bank’s existing momentum in Missouri and increase Fifth Third’s local market share in Kansas City.
Dunn became part of Fifth Third after spending 17 years at JP Morgan. She was also employed at the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City for three years.
She is originally from New Jersey and attended Fairfield University in Fairfield, Connecticut, where she earned a finance degree. Dunn resides in Brookside with her family and is a board member and programme chair for ACG-Kansas City, as well as a member of the Just Like You Films board.
Dunn commented: “Having spent the last 10 years in Kansas City, I can attest to this city’s deep sense of community and how businesses link arms to create a thriving ecosystem. Fifth Third is growing and innovating at an exceptional level and I look forward to joining the team and building out our presence here in the Kansas City market!”
