To expand its presence in the GCC, Indosuez Wealth Management has appointed two senior private bankers.
The bank, which has been operating in the UAE for nearly 50 years, is constantly expanding its regional footprint as it looks to add more teams and AUM there.
This senior team members will work alongside the current group in the United Arab Emirates and GCC, where Indosuez has two locations: a branch in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), which is regulated by the Dubai Financial Services Authority, and an office in Abu Dhabi that is managed by the Central Bank of the UAE, which is an onshore entity.
Omar Abouzeid joined Indosuez from Deutsche Bank, while Jeremy Rouland came from Credit Suisse.
Additionally, Indosuez opened an external asset management (EAM) desk in the DIFC, which is managed by Enguerrand Lacour, a recent hire from Société Générale Private Banking.
In addition to serving clients throughout the GCC, the desk seeks to leverage the robust dynamics of the region’s independent wealth industry, which includes external asset managers and multifamily offices.
